Romans 8:28 NIV And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
- Prayer is not getting man’s will done in heaven.
- Prayer is getting God’s will done on Earth.
- Prayer says I need you God.
- I’m inviting you into my life
When you are born of God, you are born to assurance, and you can know that you have eternal life. You are also born to talk to your Father in prayer and receive from Him what you need.
The Two-Fold Command:
1 Belief
- We believe in the name of Jesus Christ
- 1 John 3:23 NIV And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.
- We Love One Another
Remember:
- No one is perfect (all fall short)
- Romans 3:23 NIV for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God..
- It is how the world knows Christ is real (by our love one for another)
- John 13:35 NIV By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
- The foundation of God’s appeal is Love (for God so loved the world)
- 2 Corinthians 5:20 NIV We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
2 Fellowship with God
- Doing what is pleasing in the Father’s sight…
- Do we dwell in God? (if so there will be fellowship) 1 John 1:L7
- We need to stay in the rain… (not run out in the morning, then run in at night)

- Psalms 1:1-2 NIV Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.

The Message
1 John 5:11-15 NIV 11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

If you will confess Jesus is Lord and believe
