Attitude: a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person’s behavior.

What Hinders Our Attitude?
Matthew 11:28-30 NIV“ Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
- Not Acceptance of others
- Not Acceptance of ourselves
- What we want at any cost…
28 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
We forget God has an ultimate plan for us (unique to us)
Jeremiah 29:11-13 NIV For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
So what should we do?
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV16 Rejoice always,
- Philippians 4:4-5 NIV Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
17 pray continually,
- Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
- Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
